Happy Holidays! I've been getting into the spirit by finishing up several handmade gifts, and doing some wrapping using materials I had around the studio: Birch bark, white craft paper (inexpensive and comes in big rolls from Michael's; I use it to cover my work surface before starting a messy project), cotton string, old-fashioned labels, and a sprig of spruce! Simple, elegant, and affordable!

Your blog is amongst my favorites; I swoon over all the projects and ideas. Where do you get your old fashioned labels?
Ah, Vanessa! Ask and you shall receive... well, sort of...
I found them at a strange old office supply store, but the catch is the adhesive on the back only stays sticky for about a month (fine for holiday packages!)
So, here's what I'll do for you: later on today I will scan a sheet of them and post them here as a PDF so you can print your own, either on sticker paper for printers, or plain paper that you can stick onto stuff with a glue stick.
Thank You for the lovely compliments, and I'm happy you asked about the labels! Stay tuned!
You are a dear! That would be amazing. I would love to use them in my altered books.
